Oh dear,
It's official. I have become one of those workaholic hsc nerds.
Grrr, and it's not by choice believe me.
However there is some good news of past weeks, i have decided to redecorate thy room! Ahh, something distracting to focus my creative, innovative streak.
I have chosen French Chiffon (Blake rolled his eyes) as the wall colour and i have yet to pick the wallpaper - but I'm thinking something old Victorian style?.
I also gave my much needing cupboard a makeover, wooden coat hangers and all.
Exciting much, I think so.!
Ohh and in response to my last post i have decided to go with the balmain inspired denim big shouldered jacket, with a turban headband and a red velvet backless dress.

Fashion Weekend Sydney
Ok,
been a while,
been to busy to blog so will just fill you in on my latest buys as such;
I attended fashion weekend Sydney on the Sunday and purchased:
- a pair of acid wash sass and bide jeans
- an Oroton leather headband featuring a bow,
- and the cut out dress from style stalker. (i wanted to purchase many more items - a pair of peep toe shoes but ran out of money)
I dote upon each of these now 'wardrobe staples' but you can imagine my disappointment when i arrived home with the similar 'peep shoulder dress' i blogged about months ago, instead of my cut out dress.
See the fashion weekend shops had this system where they write down on this receipt like paper you pay for the item at a paying station and then bring the receipt back stamped to prove you've paid.
And it totally muddled things up and was a real nuisance,
Anyway my dad took the other girls dress taken mistakenly into the city to swap and i haven't received the dress Ive actually paid for yet.
It's a bit of a nail biting process, although I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for it to arrive.
Also did a bit of opp shopping today with a friend that has an expertise as such on the matter, for a textiles something old make it new project. Rather excited, I'm planning on transforming one of my mother's old hideous denim jackets into a military, balmain inspired jacket.! So excited hope all goes to plan, just undecided on whether to pair it with acid washed, ripped jeans or is it to much denim...? If any one fancies to offer an idea feel free!
Can't wait to catch up reading every one's blogs.

Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows.

loving it up here on the sunshine coast!
The weather is almost too good to be true;
Just thought id quickly fill u in on my newest buys:
- a sunny girl lace bodysuit,
- a turban headband (yes i finally got 2 grey and black)
- a pair of the Jeanie looking pants, they are so comfy

The Sunshine Coast
Bonjour mademoiselles,
excuse the absence of late
my family has decided to take a much needed vacation to Queensland where it is always warm-Hallelujah!- and is why i haven't been blogging.
I know i promised (or thought i did anyway) a picture of my new gorgeous blazer so here it finally is in all its glory:
I'm head over heels in love with it.
and also the weather up here is glorious i am browning wonderfully-nothing better than a beautiful tan.
There are so many beautiful boutiques up here! It's amazing.
well I promise to blog when I'm not busy reading a trashy magazine by the pool developing a tan!

PRADA TURBAN
I know it's not in any more but i can't help lusting over the Prada turbans adorned by their models and by The Olsen twins in 2007. I especially love the picture of Eva Mendes with the green silk one;
I've tried numerous amounts of times to make one from scratch but every time i fail miserably.

Hello lovelies,
pardon my absence - been very busy with schooling and what-not.
Last Saturday night went and stayed in Wollongong with my girls
What wonderful night at the pub itwas!
I bought this beautifully black laced dress from Dotti for the occasion, i simply could not resist, it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's classique elegance and I wouldn't dare shun that!
I love the cut out at the back it is Tre` Magnifique`!!
I was rather surprised as I my personal opinion is that Dotti is rather tacky/nothing special. But this is a gift from heaven!
However, I can't find a picture and thy camera has decided to run off tonight so i will upload photos from the night when i receive them.
Off to watch the amazing GG,

Friday, the 13th.
Yes today is the Friday the 13th so my friends and I have decided to dress up scary (think dark eyeshadow and vampires) as a tribute,
And since I am going for the goth kinda look with my photography in art i decided hey what a great opportunity to take some photo's.
Really looking forward to it.
Will post them up once developed :).
Have spotted these Mystic Swan Hi-Top booties about a million times at MIMCO in Miranda. I want them soooo badly. It's so painful. They are an image of perfection and would definetly turn heads but the set back it $500. There's just NO WAY that i can afford them. Sigh,

Tomorrow i am updating the hair. I've always wanted to have a brunette straight fringe likewise to the one above but i am tossing up whether it will suit me/not suit me. I have a big side fringe atm, but am looking for something new? Could this be it? I used to have one but when I was blonde so i don't know if it'll suit me.

and i just have to say nothing will EVER be the new black for me but BLACK itself.
It works great with practically almost any ensemble, it's elegant, tidy, slimming, shows of a tan and of course last but not least is great as nail polish!

Anyone have any tips on op shopping and combining it? I am soooo poor and have practically not been seen by the public (except for school) because of my lack of clothes atm.

1/3/09 Milan Fashion Week
Found out our major textiles and design project for half yearlies today;
a wall hanging on the schools in the area.
They couldn't pick something interesting like that last couple of years now could they? (fairytales, carnivals, under the sea)
No, our almost carked it teacher has picked "schools".
Ok. So shes a nice lady i'll give her that but what at all is interesting about school. There's not much colour, scenery or anything remotely interesting to base the piece of work on.
Argghh. Excuse the bore but had to get it off my chest.
On a different page, Milan Fashion Week had some more promising designs then my textiles teacher.
My Favourites Included:
I love the fur coats (although hoping they're not real), The satin, the imitation Mickey Mouse Ears, and the Etro's neckpeice.(cannot be given the admiration it deserves due to my lack of skills.)
But my FAVOURITE thing was definately without arguement these Prada shoes:
My heart skipped a beat first time I layed eyes on these babies.
Dear Santa
Please get me these shoes.
I'll forever be in you det;

Ugh. Boys.
This morning on the way to school i got caught behind these repulsive boys in the year below.
Not only did they spit on the pavement but they also stunk!
It was like they hadn't had a shower or bathed themselves in 2 weeks.
Then i got to school and some stupid boy that sits near me in art persisted to listen to his 'metal' full blast much to everyone elses' dismay.
My brother is always a ignorant, conniving brat
And,
then my boyfriend took his tired/soreness out on me.!
I mean what is it with society's males today?
There all rude!
What happened to the gentlemen that opened car doors for women, pulled there chair out for them and then proceeded to sit down.
I mean even women now-a-days are rude.
I see women on the train with there legs open exposing there panties, they couldn't even care less, chewing gum in an unfashionable manner, practically getting it on in public with someone they just met.
Call me old fashioned but i just don't approve of that part of society.
Pardon the boring rave.
Off to watch 'Breakfast at Tiffany's';
