PRADA TURBAN

I know it's not in any more but i can't help lusting over the Prada turbans adorned by their models and by The Olsen twins in 2007. I especially love the picture of Eva Mendes with the green silk one;


I've tried numerous amounts of times to make one from scratch but every time i fail miserably.

Hello lovelies,
pardon my absence - been very busy with schooling and what-not.

Last Saturday night went and stayed in Wollongong with my girls
What wonderful night at the pub itwas!
I bought this beautifully black laced dress from Dotti for the occasion, i simply could not resist, it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's classique elegance and I wouldn't dare shun that!

I love the cut out at the back it is Tre` Magnifique`!!
I was rather surprised as I my personal opinion is that Dotti is rather tacky/nothing special. But this is a gift from heaven!
However, I can't find a picture and thy camera has decided to run off tonight so i will upload photos from the night when i receive them.

Friday, the 13th.

Yes today is the Friday the 13th so my friends and I have decided to dress up scary (think dark eyeshadow and vampires) as a tribute,
And since I am going for the goth kinda look with my photography in art i decided hey what a great opportunity to take some photo's.

Really looking forward to it.

Have spotted these Mystic Swan Hi-Top booties about a million times at MIMCO in Miranda. I want them soooo badly. It's so painful. They are an image of perfection and would definetly turn heads but the set back it $500. There's just NO WAY that i can afford them. Sigh,

Tomorrow i am updating the hair. I've always wanted to have a brunette straight fringe likewise to the one above but i am tossing up whether it will suit me/not suit me. I have a big side fringe atm, but am looking for something new? Could this be it? I used to have one but when I was blonde so i don't know if it'll suit me.

NOIR IS (and will always be the) THE NEW NOIR

Girls,
I know a common cliche` is Black is the new Black.. or Pink is the new black.. so on and so fourth,
i assume we all know what I'm talking about,
and i just have to say nothing will EVER be the new black for me but BLACK itself.

It works great with practically almost any ensemble, it's elegant, tidy, slimming, shows of a tan and of course last but not least is great as nail polish!
I have a current obsession with darkly coloured nails and I thought I'd share:








Disappointed with Karl's effort on Chanel at Fashion Week - very surprised.

Anyone have any tips on op shopping and combining it? I am soooo poor and have practically not been seen by the public (except for school) because of my lack of clothes atm.

1/3/09 Milan Fashion Week

Found out our major textiles and design project for half yearlies today;

a wall hanging on the schools in the area.

They couldn't pick something interesting like that last couple of years now could they? (fairytales, carnivals, under the sea)
No, our almost carked it teacher has picked "schools".

Ok. So shes a nice lady i'll give her that but what at all is interesting about school. There's not much colour, scenery or anything remotely interesting to base the piece of work on.

Argghh. Excuse the bore but had to get it off my chest.

On a different page, Milan Fashion Week had some more promising designs then my textiles teacher.

My Favourites Included:





I love the fur coats (although hoping they're not real), The satin, the imitation Mickey Mouse Ears, and the Etro's neckpeice.(cannot be given the admiration it deserves due to my lack of skills.)

But my FAVOURITE thing was definately without arguement these Prada shoes:

My heart skipped a beat first time I layed eyes on these babies.
