been a while,
been to busy to blog so will just fill you in on my latest buys as such;
I attended fashion weekend Sydney on the Sunday and purchased:
- a pair of acid wash sass and bide jeans
- an Oroton leather headband featuring a bow,
- and the cut out dress from style stalker. (i wanted to purchase many more items - a pair of peep toe shoes but ran out of money)
I dote upon each of these now 'wardrobe staples' but you can imagine my disappointment when i arrived home with the similar 'peep shoulder dress' i blogged about months ago, instead of my cut out dress.
See the fashion weekend shops had this system where they write down on this receipt like paper you pay for the item at a paying station and then bring the receipt back stamped to prove you've paid.
And it totally muddled things up and was a real nuisance,
Anyway my dad took the other girls dress taken mistakenly into the city to swap and i haven't received the dress Ive actually paid for yet.
It's a bit of a nail biting process, although I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for it to arrive.
Also did a bit of opp shopping today with a friend that has an expertise as such on the matter, for a textiles something old make it new project. Rather excited, I'm planning on transforming one of my mother's old hideous denim jackets into a military, balmain inspired jacket.! So excited hope all goes to plan, just undecided on whether to pair it with acid washed, ripped jeans or is it to much denim...? If any one fancies to offer an idea feel free!
